The Story of INS Khukri
INS Khukri is the centrepiece of this museum and holds a special place in Indian naval history. Named after the only Indian Navy ship ever lost in combat (the original INS Khukri, sunk during the 1971 Bangladesh Liberation War), this vessel served the nation proudly for 32 years before being transformed into a living memorial.
