INS Khukri — A Living Memorial
INS Khukri served the Indian Navy for 32 years, covering over 6,44,897 nautical miles — equivalent to circumnavigating the Earth 30 times. Commissioned on 23 August 1989 and decommissioned on 23 December 2021, she was formally handed over to the Diu district administration on 26 January 2022 to become this museum.
